Receive Personal Funds from Iran in the United Kingdom
If you live in the United Kingdom, study here, or are preparing to relocate, Persia Money can help you receive eligible personal funds from Iran in pounds sterling.
You can use the service for a wide range of documented personal purposes, including:
- Moving your personal savings to the UK
- Relocating after receiving a UK visa
- Receiving family support
- Student living and accommodation costs
- Pension and retirement income
- Rental income
- Inheritance
- Proceeds from the sale of personal property
- Salary and accumulated personal savings
- Immigration-related costs
- Education, medical and legal expenses
- Other legitimate personal purposes
For most transfers, the GBP equivalent is paid by Faster Payments into a UK bank account held in your own name.
In certain cases, Persia Money may also make a payment directly to a verified UK organisation, such as a university, hospital, solicitor or approved immigration-related recipient.
This service is intended for legitimate personal funds. For full eligibility and usage restrictions, please see our Acceptable Use Policy.
How Does It Work?
Persia Money uses an IVTS settlement model.
The required amount is paid locally in toman and, once the transaction has been reviewed and approved, the GBP equivalent is paid using funds available within the United Kingdom.
This means you normally receive a domestic UK payment rather than a conventional international bank transfer directly from Iran.
The process is straightforward:
- 1. Submit your transfer request.
- 2. Tell us how much GBP you want to receive.
- 3. Review the applicable GBP rate and total cost.
- 4. Select the reason for the transfer.
- 5. Provide your UK bank details or approved recipient details.
- 6. Provide information about the source of the funds.
- 7. Upload supporting documents where required.
- 8. The required amount is paid in toman.
- 9. The GBP equivalent is paid in the UK.
- 10. Track the transaction through your Persia Money account.
Moving to the UK?
If you have received a UK visa and are preparing to relocate, Persia Money can help you move eligible personal funds for your arrival and settlement in the United Kingdom.

- Personal savings
- Initial living expenses
- Rental deposit
- Advance rent
- Temporary accommodation
- Household costs
- Everyday living expenses
- Setting up your new home
- Family support during your relocation
Once you have a UK bank account in your own name, approved funds can normally be paid directly into that account by Faster Payments.
Where relevant, we may ask for supporting information such as your visa, immigration documents or accommodation information.
Already Living in the UK?
If you are already resident in the United Kingdom, Persia Money can help you receive legitimate personal funds that remain connected to your life or assets in Iran.

- Inheritance
- Proceeds from the sale of personal property

For most transactions, the GBP will be paid into a UK bank account held in your own name.
You will normally need:
- Account holder's full name
- UK Sort code & Account number
Persia Money may verify the account details using Confirmation of Payee (COP) before making the payment.
Payments Directly to UK Organisations
Although most transfers are paid into your own UK bank account, Persia Money may also consider certain direct payments to verified organisations.
These may include:
Immigration-Related Payments
Certain payments connected with a UK immigration or visa process may be considered where the purpose and recipient can be verified.
Universities and Education Providers
We may be able to pay a recognised UK university or approved education provider directly.
Hospitals and Healthcare Providers
Payments to recognised hospitals or healthcare providers may be considered for legitimate personal medical expenses.
Solicitors and Law Firms
Payments to verified UK solicitors or regulated law firms may be considered where the legal matter and purpose of the payment can be established.
